Patient Journey NetBaseQuid was founded in November 2017 by Kelly Cole, Christina Pollock, and Jen Taltavull. Kelly and Christina met while working at another healthcare startup that they eventually left to start their own because they saw an endless need for improvement within healthcare technology. Their goal was to create a company that makes a powerful patient experience. They combined their experience with healthcare to create it. The idea of Patient Journey came when this trio recognized a general need for more communication between patients and their healthcare providers. If somebody needs to learn what is going on with their condition and the treatment plan, they will probably need to be more engaged with the overall process. When they started to work on it, they recognized that many other companies were failing because they needed to understand the value that they created. They could not see the benefit of creating a software product because they needed to know how it would benefit what it was meant for. When they started, they evaluated many other technologies on the market, including various ERP systems and SaaS solutions. However, they did not see anything using content-based methods as NetBaseQuid does. Because of this, they decided to create their software, using their background and experience to create a precious product.

To ensure this did not happen with this Journey, they used an encryption method and ensured that everything remained confidential between users. They are always looking for ways to improve this encryption method and add other security features.

They decided to make their software a SaaS solution and use cloud servers, allowing them to use any device or operating system and provide clients with access from anywhere. This allows for maximum accessibility and ensures that patients can use them whenever possible.
The last step that they took was to start building their team. The main reason for this was to ensure they had the right people to achieve the most outstanding results. They knew that if they started working with a particular group of people and all of them could not do what it took, and their efforts would have been wasted.
